Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Night Shift The Village at
Riverview Shift:
7:00 PM - 7:00AM Position Type:
Full-Time Schedule:
Overnight / 12-hour shifts Position Summary The Village at Riverview is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and clinically skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team on the 7:00 PM-7:00 AM night shift . The LPN is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, promoting their comfort, safety, dignity, and overall well-being. The ideal candidate is a team player who is confident working independently, communicates effectively, and is committed to providing exceptional resident-centered care. Essential Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans and established standards of practice. Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely. Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to the appropriate provider, supervisor, or responsible party. Complete nursing assessments, documentation, charting, and required reports accurately and timely. Respond appropriately to resident needs and emergencies during the overnight shift. Collaborate with Resident Assistants, CNAs, other nursing staff, physicians, families, and other members of the care team. Assist with maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents. Follow infection-control, safety, medication-management, and facility policies and procedures. Provide compassionate support to residents and their families while respecting privacy, dignity, and individual preferences. Provide appropriate shift-to-shift communication to promote continuity of care. Supervise and support nursing assistants and other assigned staff as appropriate. Participate in quality-improvement initiatives and required training. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the applicable state. Current CPR certification, or ability to obtain as required. Previous experience in senior living, assisted living, skilled nursing, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting preferred. Strong clinical assessment, organization, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during the overnight shift. Compassionate, dependable, and respectful approach to resident care. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Must be able to meet the physical and functional requirements of the position.Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk and work for 8+ hours (per work day) - this work will include the following: standing, bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling. Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs., using proper body mechanics or available equipment. Ability to lift and assist resident using two-person lifts or lifting equipment. Pay negotiable upon experience and/or shift differential.
