Job Description

General Description - As an LPN, you will deliver direct nursing care to physically and developmentally disabled, ill, and/or injured individuals. Working under the guidance of a registered nurse (RN) or licensed physician, you may oversee health service workers and certified nursing assistants in delivering basic patient care services. You will perform general nursing duties such as assisting with daily living activities, transporting patients, and recording vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, etc.). Why Join Us? Example of Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, including assisting with daily living activities, administering medications, and performing basic nursing duties. Work collaboratively under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or licensed physician to ensure comprehensive patient care. Oversee and support health service workers and certified nursing assistants, ensuring quality care delivery. Monitor and record vital signs, observe patient conditions, and document progress. Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring smooth transitions and continuity of care. Participate in maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff through monitoring, de-escalation techniques, and crisis intervention. Set up and maintain medical supplies and equipment, ensuring they are readily available and in good working condition. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. #

Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse from the West Virginia State Board of Examiners for Licensed Practical Nurses.
