Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. As a Massage Therapist, you will assess patients' needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic services that promote relaxation and healing. This position requires the therapist to bring a treatment table to every appointment to service clients in residential high-rises. Scheduling is flexible and as needed . Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences. Provide a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, swedish massage and sports massage. Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to enhance treatment effectiveness. Deliver excellent customer service by ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for clients. Educate patients on self-care techniques and wellness practices to support their ongoing health. Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean working environment. Requirements Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist and Liability insurance. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and occupational health principles. Proficiency in various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and Swedish massage. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience in pain management practices is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and develop appropriate treatment plans. Commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of massage therapy.
