Duties Perform fascial stretch therapy sessions using FST techniques to improve flexibility, reduce pain, and enhance athletic performance Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify areas of tension, restriction, and discomfort, tailoring treatments accordingly Incorporate various massage modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, trigger point therapy, and prenatal massage to optimize results Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health strategies, and pain management techniques for sustained benefits Maintain detailed treatment records, including client progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring clear communication of outcomes Provide exceptional customer service by listening attentively to client needs and addressing concerns with professionalism and empathy Stay current with industry advancements in physiology, anatomy knowledge, medical terminology, CPR certification, and fascial stretch methodologies to continually enhance your practice Qualifications Valid FST certification with demonstrated expertise in fascial stretch techniques Proven experience in massage therapy including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, trigger point therapy, and prenatal massage Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy relevant to soft tissue manipulation and pain management Prior experience working in medical spa settings or occupational health environments is highly desirable Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess needs accurately and explain treatment benefits clearly Knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and injury prevention CPR certification required; additional certifications in sports therapy or occupational health are a plus Passionate about helping clients achieve optimal mobility and well-being through innovative therapeutic approaches
