We are seeking a friendly, motivated, Licensed Massage Therapist to join our growing team and deliver outstanding patient care in a fast-paced, professional environment. This will be for Saturdays (9-3) and on call through the week based on your availability. Job Summary As a Massage Therapist, you will provide professional massage therapy services tailored to meet individual patient needs. Your role is vital in enhancing patient relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being through expert touch and personalized care. This position offers flexibility to accommodate fluctuating scheduling demands while maintaining high standards of service. Our current massage therapist is averaging $48/session plus tips. Duties Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific patient concerns. Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology knowledge and medical terminology. Provide pain management solutions through targeted massage therapies, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare standards. Educate patients on self-care practices related to occupational health and overall wellness. Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care plans for patients requiring specialized massage therapy. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patients during each session. Experience Proven experience in patient service, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and professionalism. Prior experience with medical spa treatments or occupational health settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Skilled in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other therapeutic techniques aimed at pain relief. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and adapt treatments accordingly. Familiarity with healthcare protocols related to pain management and patient safety. Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment with flexibility for on-call scheduling.
