Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and address specific pain points or areas of concern Maintain clear and compassionate communication with clients to understand their goals and provide education on treatment benefits and aftercare Apply your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to deliver safe and effective therapies Ensure proper documentation of each session, including client progress notes and treatment details Adhere to all health and safety standards, including CPR certification requirements, occupational health guidelines, and sanitation protocols Promote a welcoming environment that emphasizes patient service excellence and customer satisfaction Qualifications Valid massage therapy license or certification in accordance with state or local regulations Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and pain management techniques Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess needs effectively and provide personalized treatment plans CPR certification is required; additional certifications such as med spa experience or occupational health training are a plus Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory Ability to work independently with professionalism and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient service Join us as an Independent Contractor Massage Therapist and make a meaningful impact on clients' well-being through expert care.
