Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage therapies including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology knowledge, anatomy understanding, and pain management experience Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and provide personalized recommendations Maintain accurate documentation of each session, including client progress and treatment details in compliance with medical terminology standards Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all health regulations and CPR certification requirements Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend follow-up treatments or referrals when necessary Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills by creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages client loyalty and satisfaction Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification in CPR Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical terminology familiarity Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to perform effective treatments and client assessments Prior experience in med spa or occupational health settings is preferred but not required Excellent client communication skills with the ability to listen actively and address individual needs effectively Ability to maintain professionalism while managing multiple client appointments efficiently Knowledge of pain management techniques and experience working with diverse patient populations is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly impact the health and happiness of others.
