Viejas Casino & Resort , San Diego's Premier Four Diamond Gaming and Resort destination, is looking for an experienced Massage Therapist to join our Willows Spa team!

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Massage Therapist is responsible for providing massages and other body treatments to guests. This position is $16.90, plus tips!

CORE SCOPE OF POSITION

Always ensures the Viejas guest service experience for guests by maintaining the standards. Adheres to company and departmental policies and standard operating procedures, and applicable governmental laws and regulations. Performs massage and body services that meet the established guidelines for the type of service offering and that fulfill guest expectations. Performs all treatments on services menu based upon current licensure. Assesses contraindications of guest that may prevent service from taking place. Understands and uses universal precautions when providing services. Cleans and disinfects all equipment daily. Maintains the highest level of product knowledge and has complete knowledge of all spa service presently offered. Understands the ingredients in products and explains the benefits to guests. Answers guests' questions in a knowledgeable and professional manner. Recommends products for home use. Suggests other beneficial treatments offered in the spa. Begins and ends all treatments on time. Informs Spa Manager about product needs. Creates and maintains client cards and treatment notes, when appropriate. Attends all scheduled meetings and professional trainings. Attends scheduled professional trainings. Reports any incidents or accidents to a member of the management team. Ensures that work areas are clean and set according to procedures. Ensures that a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment is maintained. Adheres to all company and department policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned.

Excellent verbal and written skills. Strong team player. Must be comfortable with product recommendation. Must be flexible to work different shifts, evenings, and holidays. Required Experience

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

High school diploma or General education degree (GED). Valid California Massage Therapy License.

EXPERIENCE

Previous massage and body work experience. Customer service experience, preferably in a spa.
