Job Description

Overview Join our team as a Licensed Massage Therapist. In this role, you will deliver customized massage treatments that address individual needs, enhance overall well-being, and support recovery. Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to alleviate pain and tension. Conduct assessments to understand individual health concerns, treatment goals, and contraindications. Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to develop safe, effective treatment plans tailored to each client. Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health tips, and post-treatment recommendations to maximize benefits. Ensure a welcoming, professional environment by delivering exceptional customer service and addressing client inquiries promptly. Use gentle sales techniques to re-book clients and develop recurring client base. Qualifications Valid state licensure and insurance as a Massage Therapist Proven experience in client service, assessment, and applying advanced massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Prior experience working in a day spa or wellness-focused setting is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse clients. Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, kneeling, and applying appropriate pressure during treatments. Commitment to maintaining professional ethics, confidentiality, and ongoing professional development.
Pay:
$45.00 per hour
