Job Description

Schedule/Hours:
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Key Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiation Therapy, or eligibility to obtain Experience operating Elekta equipment highly valued, though training will be provided for new graduates Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Proven ability to work compassionately and effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed radiation treatments under the guidance of physicians and in accordance with established protocols Operate and maintain Elekta treatment equipment, ensuring safe and accurate radiation delivery Communicate effectively with patients to provide education, manage anxieties, and answer questions about treatment Document procedures, maintain records, and uphold quality control standards Operate with a focus on patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times Collaborate with physicians, medical physicists, and other team members to carry out individualized treatment plans
