ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you a skilled massage therapist who wants to do more than just book-to-book sessions? At Ayurhitam, you will use your clinical expertise every day and see real, measurable change in your clients' health and wellbeing. We are a growing Ayurvedic wellness practice with two Bay Area locations — Fremont and Sunnyvale — and we are hiring therapists who are passionate about bodywork and client outcomes. This is a contract-to-hire position with potential to transition to a long-term role. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available.

COMPENSATION

Massage sessions: $35 - $50/hr depending on experience and modality Front desk / administrative support: $25 - $30/hr 100% of tips are yours to keep Monthly performance bonus when you hit your revenue milestone

Contract-to-hire:

opportunity to transition to a permanent role based on fit and performance

SCHEDULE OPTIONS

Full-time:

Flexible weekday and weekend schedule, hours by arrangement

Part-time:

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday — ideal for therapists with an existing practice

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Deliver 4 or more massage sessions per day, including Shirodhara and other Ayurvedic therapies as scheduled Write SOAP/clinical notes and track each client's treatment progress over time Build strong client relationships — repeat bookings are a core part of our practice Collaborate with the team on individual treatment plans and wellness goals Assist with front desk duties and scheduling as needed

REQUIREMENTS

Valid CAMTC certification (required) Experience in Swedish, deep tissue, or therapeutic massage Comfortable writing client notes and following treatment progress Punctual, professional, and genuinely client-focused Interest in Ayurvedic therapies is a strong plus — training available

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

We do not currently offer health insurance or retirement benefits. However, massage trading between team members is available and encouraged. Compensation is competitive and includes tips plus performance bonuses.
