In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being. The position is for 2-3 night a week 3:00pm-7:00pm and Saturdays morning Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific muscle groups and relieve pain. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals. Develop customized treatment plans based on physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and anatomy understanding to optimize client outcomes. Provide excellent patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere, explaining procedures clearly, and addressing client questions or concerns with professionalism. Educate clients on self-care practices related to occupational health, pain management, and overall wellness strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments provided, patient progress, and any relevant medical information in compliance with healthcare standards. Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment adhering to all health regulations and sanitation protocols. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification in good standing. Proven experience in patient service with a focus on customer satisfaction and therapeutic outcomes. Hands-on experience performing deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced modalities such as medical or spa treatments. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management. Prior work in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and explain treatment benefits clearly.
