Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals through personalized treatment plans, utilizing advanced massage techniques and a thorough understanding of human physiology. Duties Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific client needs Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual health conditions and goals Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health, and pain management strategies to enhance ongoing wellness Maintain detailed records of treatments, progress notes, and client feedback in compliance with medical and regulatory standards Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care and optimal outcomes Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation protocols and clinic policies Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to continually enhance skills Requirements Valid state license as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice professionally Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and applying advanced massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect empathetically with clients from diverse backgrounds Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is preferred Ability to communicate effectively with clients about treatment options and health concerns Commitment to maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to licensing standards Join us in creating a positive impact through healing touch!
