In this role, you will deliver expert massage therapy services tailored specifically for expectant and new mothers, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients navigate the physical challenges of pregnancy and postpartum recovery while providing a calming, supportive environment. This contract position in an high volume chiropractic practice offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives through compassionate care and professional excellence. Duties Perform specialized prenatal and postnatal massage therapy sessions that address unique physiological needs of pregnant and postpartum women Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health conditions and comfort levels Utilize advanced massage techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities to alleviate pain and improve mobility Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to all health regulations. Support additional non-pregnant chiropractic patients with massage therapy as needed. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with specialization or experience in prenatal/postnatal massage therapy Proven expertise in massage therapy techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and general therapeutic modalities Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to pregnancy and postpartum conditions Experience with patient assessment procedures to tailor treatments effectively Compassionate approach toward patient care. Knowledge of pain management strategies specific to occupational health and maternity-related discomforts CPR certification, additional certifications in medical or occupational health are a plus Prior experience or working within a wellness or healthcare setting is highly desirable. Bilingual, English/Spanish a plus. Must be dog friendly
