Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Perform massage therapy techniques to help clients relax, reduce pain, and improve overall well-being
• Assess clients' needs and create customized treatment plans
• Utilize anatomy knowledge to target specific muscle groups and address areas of concern
• Administer physical examinations to identify any underlying conditions or contraindications
• Apply medical terminology to effectively communicate with clients and other healthcare professionals
• Provide acute pain management through various massage techniques, such as trigger point therapy
• Deliver exceptional patient service by maintaining a professional and compassionate demeanor
• Continuously expand knowledge of physiology to enhance treatment effectiveness
• Perform deep tissue massage to alleviate chronic muscle tension and promote healing
• Collaborate with clients to develop pain management strategies for long-term relief

Experience:

• Proficient in a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue, Swedish, and sports massage
• Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology
• Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to communicate effectively with clients and healthcare professionals
• Experience in acute pain management and trigger point therapy is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide exceptional patient service
