Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to provide exceptional care and pain management for our clients. This role requires a commitment to patient service and a passion for promoting overall health and well-being. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and discuss their health history to develop personalized treatment plans. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to identify areas of tension and discomfort, ensuring effective pain management strategies are implemented. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by fostering positive relationships with clients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring satisfaction with treatments. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and medical terminology relevant to occupational health and wellness practices. Document client progress and treatment outcomes accurately in accordance with company policies. Experience Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with proficiency in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other relevant techniques. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and pain management principles. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide outstanding patient service in a spa or clinical setting. Previous experience in a med spa or similar environment is preferred but not mandatory. Certification from an accredited massage therapy program is required; state licensure must be current.
