  • $45 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications CPR Certification Customer communication Anatomy knowledge Massage Therapy License Med spa experience Safety standard operating procedures Medical terminology Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapists to provide chair massages at an onsite event at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center on the following dates: Friday, September 25th at 7:30am•5pm Saturday, September 26th at 7:30am•2pm In this role, you will provide exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and support overall health and well-being.
Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals through personalized treatment plans and attentive care. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage to meet individual client needs Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations for optimal results Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort, address questions, and tailor treatments accordingly Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to enhance service quality Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including CPR certification and occupational health guidelines Skills Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and pain management techniques Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client conditions and customize treatments Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage and health assessments Ability to perform patient assessments effectively and develop personalized treatment plans Experience working in med spa or clinical settings is preferred CPR certification and understanding of occupational health standards are required for safety compliance
