Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and relaxation goals through personalized treatment plans, utilizing a variety of massage techniques. Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Apply advanced knowledge of physiology and anatomy to ensure safe and effective therapy techniques. Communicate clearly with clients about their treatment options, progress, and post-session care instructions. Maintain detailed records of each session, including client feedback and treatment outcomes. Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health & safety standards, including CPR certification. Provide excellent patient service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing client concerns promptly. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current licensing credentials. Proven experience in massage therapy with a strong background in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical or occupational health settings. Knowledge of medical terminology related to pain management and physiology to enhance treatment effectiveness. Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs accurately through client communication and physical evaluation. Experience working in med spas or similar healthcare environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with customer service principles to ensure an exceptional client experience. CPR certification is required; additional certifications in specialized techniques such as sports or trigger point therapy are a plus.
