  • Job Summary
  • We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques and a deep understanding of human anatomy and physiology. This role involves assessing patient needs, providing therapeutic massage treatments, and contributing to the overall well-being of clients. The Massage Therapist will work closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their specific pain management and relaxation needs.
  • Duties
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences.
  • Perform various types of massage therapies, including Swedish, Deep tissue, Prenatal, Myofascial Release, and Sports Massage
  • Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and physiology to communicate effectively with clients and other healthcare professionals.
  • Document treatment plans, progress notes, and any changes in client condition.
  • Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Provide education to clients on self-care techniques, stretching exercises, and pain management strategies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers in occupational health settings or med spa environments as needed.
  • Experience
  • Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a strong portfolio of techniques including but not limited to deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, Myofascial Release, Cupping Fascilitated Stretching, Medical Massage and acute pain management.
  • Familiarity with patient assessment protocols and physical examinations is preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within a clinical setting.
  • Understanding of pain management practices and the ability to apply them in therapeutic settings.
  • Experience working in med spas or occupational health environments is a plus.
