Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist to join our spa team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional therapeutic massage services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness. This role requires a professional with a strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and dedicated to delivering personalized patient care in a relaxing environment. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients' health and well-being through expert massage techniques and patient-centered service. Responsibilities Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans Educate client on pain management strategies and post-treatment care Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, client progress, and treatment outcomes Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all clients Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant massage techniques Uphold all licensing requirements and adhere to health and safety regulations Requirements Valid state license as a Massage Therapist Proficiency in deep tissue massage and Swedish massage Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology Excellent communication skills with the ability to assess clients needs effectively Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a compassionate approach at all times Commitment to ongoing education and professional development in massage therapy techniques
