$67.00 - $87.00 per hour Job description: Job Overview As a Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of our clients through therapeutic touch. You will provide personalized massage treatments that alleviate pain, reduce stress, and promote relaxation. Your expertise in various techniques will empower clients to achieve their health goals while ensuring an exceptional experience that keeps them coming back for more. What you'll do: •
MUST HAVE DC MASSAGE THERAPY LICENSE
•Deliver a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to effectively address pain management and muscle tension. Utilize your knowledge of physiology and anatomy to educate clients on the benefits of each treatment and promote overall wellness. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients, ensuring adherence to occupational health standards. Provide outstanding customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their concerns with empathy and professionalism. Document treatment plans and client progress accurately using medical terminology to ensure continuity of care. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices to continually enhance your skills. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to create comprehensive care plans that support client health goals. Experience Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by local regulations. Familiarity with deep tissue massage techniques and trigger point therapy is essential for this role. Knowledge of pain management strategies and the ability to apply them effectively during treatments. Understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
