Job Summary We are hiring Florida-licensed massage therapists (LMTs) in Clearwater, very close to the beach. We are a busy spa with 4-6 appointments per day. Pay is $40-$49 per hour, and therapists keep 100% of their tips. We offer flexible scheduling and steady clientele. After 3 months of employment, the company will sponsor a Beauty II license (valued at $10,000), as we offer a variety of beauty and head spa services that require additional licensing. We especially welcome therapists who speak languages other than English, including Spanish, Chinese, or Russian. A valid Florida LMT license is required. For therapists relocating to the Clearwater area, a private room may also be available to help make the transition easier. Responsibilities Deliver a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure effective pain management Maintain detailed documentation of client sessions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with licensing standards Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend follow-up treatments to support ongoing wellness goals Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and maintaining equipment readiness Communicate clearly with clients about their comfort levels, treatment expectations, and health concerns using medical terminology when appropriate Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements such as CPR certification Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in FL Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly Excellent client communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management experience preferred Demonstrated commitment to patient service excellence and customer service skills Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications such as med spa experience or occupational health are advantageous Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed Join us to be part of a team that values your expertise and passion for healing!
