Responsibilities:

• Perform massage therapy techniques to help clients relax, reduce stress, and alleviate pain
• Assess clients' medical history and conditions to determine the most appropriate massage techniques
• Apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology to target specific muscle groups and provide effective treatment
• Utilize deep tissue massage techniques to address chronic muscle tension and promote healing
• Assist in pain management by applying appropriate pressure and using techniques such as trigger point therapy
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for clients with acute pain management needs
• Conduct physical examinations to identify areas of concern and develop personalized treatment plans

Skills:

• Proficient in medical terminology related to massage therapy
• Ability to assess patients' conditions and customize treatments accordingly
• In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and its relation to massage therapy
• Skilled in providing deep tissue massages to address muscle tension and promote relaxation
• Familiarity with pain management techniques and their application in massage therapy
• Experience in acute pain management for clients with specific medical conditions
• Competence in performing physical examinations to identify areas of concern or potential contraindications for massage therapy
• Proficient in trigger point therapy techniques for targeted pain relief
• Understanding of physiology and its impact on massage therapy treatments
