In this role, you will deliver specialized lymphatic drainage massage therapy directly to patients recovering from surgery, providing essential post-operative care that promotes healing, reduces swelling, and enhances overall well-being. Your energetic approach and expert knowledge will empower patients on their journey to recovery, ensuring they receive personalized treatment in various locations. Responsibilities Perform targeted post-operative lymphatic drainage massage therapy tailored to each patient's specific needs, focusing on reducing swelling and improving circulation. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and monitor progress throughout recovery. Educate patients on self-care techniques and post-treatment protocols to optimize healing outcomes. Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with medical standards. Travel between designated locations to provide consistent, high-quality therapy sessions in various settings such as Airbnb, hotels, or private residences. Uphold the highest standards of patient service, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and active listening at all times . Qualifications Proven experience in medical massage therapy with a focus on post-operative or lymphatic drainage treatments; med spa experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to lymphatic and circulatory systems. Skilled in deep tissue massage techniques and trigger point therapy for pain management and tissue release. Exceptional patient service skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and adapt treatments accordingly. Familiarity with occupational health standards and best practices for safe, hygienic therapy delivery. Excellent communication skills for clear patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams. Valid licensing or certification as required by local regulations for massage therapists; additional certifications in lymphatic drainage or related specialties are a plus.
