Responsibilities Perform advanced massage techniques including trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, sports massage, Swedish massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to address specific client concerns. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and adjust techniques based on individual physiology and pain management needs. Maintain clear communication with clients to understand their goals, explain treatment procedures, and provide guidance on self-care practices. Utilize medical terminology accurately when documenting client progress and treatment details in electronic health records. Ensure all safety protocols are followed by maintaining CPR certification and adhering to sanitation standards. Educate clients on the benefits of various massage therapies and promote ongoing wellness practices tailored to their lifestyle. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support holistic patient care and occupational health initiatives. Experience Proven experience as a licensed massage therapist with advanced training in trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, sports massage, prenatal massage, and Swedish massage. Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to effectively assess patient conditions and develop targeted treatment strategies. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients about their needs, treatment options, and progress. Prior experience working in a medical spa or clinical setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with pain management techniques and patient assessment procedures is essential. A passion for helping clients achieve optimal wellness through personalized therapeutic interventions.
