Overview Join our dynamic team as a Licensed Massage Therapist and become a vital part of promoting wellness, relaxation, and healing for our diverse clientele. In this role, you will deliver expert massage therapy services tailored to individual needs, utilizing a wide range of techniques to enhance physical and mental well-being. Duties Provide professional massage therapy sessions using techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, Thai, Shiatsu, acupressure, lymphatic drainage, trigger point therapy, hot stone massage, reflexology, and myofascial release. Customize treatments based on patient assessments and specific health conditions or goals. Perform specialized massage therapies including prenatal, postnatal, post-surgery recovery, elderly care, and therapy for chronic pain or stress-related conditions. Incorporate advanced modalities such as lymphatic drainage and massage therapy for athletes or corporate wellness clients to optimize results. Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with privacy standards. Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend appropriate follow-up therapies or lifestyle adjustments. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to all sanitation protocols and licensing regulations. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification to practice professionally. Proven experience with a broad spectrum of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, Thai massage, Shiatsu, acupressure massage, reflexology services, and more. Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to perform effective patient assessments and tailor treatments accordingly. Experience working with diverse populations including athletes, post-surgery patients, elderly clients, children, and individuals with stress-related or chronic pain conditions. Familiarity with med spa environments or similar settings is preferred. Strong communication skills to educate clients effectively and foster a welcoming atmosphere.
