Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure safe, effective therapy sessions Communicate clearly with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment options, and provide guidance on post-treatment care Maintain detailed records of each session, including client progress and treatment notes in compliance with health regulations Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and occupational health protocols Stay updated on the latest massage techniques and industry best practices through ongoing education and training Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice professionally Proven experience in providing various massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports therapy, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and medical massage Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to effectively assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly Experience working in medical spas or similar healthcare settings preferred Familiarity with medical terminology related to pain management and occupational health issues is highly advantageous CPR certification is required to ensure safety during all sessions Prior client communication skills demonstrated through positive feedback and repeat appointments are essential for success in this role
Pay:
$36.76 - $60.00 per hour
