Duties Deliver a variety of massage techniques including swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed records of each session, including client progress and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort, answer questions, and tailor treatments accordingly. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Proven experience in massage therapy, preferably with med spa or occupational health backgrounds. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to pain management and therapeutic massage. Expertise in various massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage techniques. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on patient service and customer satisfaction. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and develop customized treatment plans.
