Massage Therapist (Medical Chair Massage Chiropractic Setting)

Job Description

Massage Therapist/ Medical Chair Massage in Chiropractor Setting Part-time or Full-time, Monday-Friday Jacksonville, FL- Southside Clinic We are seeking a licensed and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our chiropractic practice. This role focuses on providing targeted 15-minute chair massage sessions as part of a patient's overall treatment plan. You will work closely with the chiropractor to support patient recovery, pain relief, and wellness. This position is ideal for a therapist who enjoys a fast-paced, clinical environment and values collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
Provide 15-minute therapeutic chair massage sessions tailored to patient needs Work under the direction of a Chiropractor to support treatment plans Focus on soft tissue work including neck, shoulders, back, and upper body Maintain accurate and timely session notes in patient records Ensure a clean, safe, and professional workspace at all times Educate patients on muscle tension, posture, and self-care techniques Communicate effectively with the chiropractic team regarding patient progress Adhere to all clinical and HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications:
Active Massage Therapy License (state-required) Certification in chair massage or experience preferred Strong understanding of anatomy, muscle groups, and therapeutic techniques Ability to perform short, focused sessions efficiently Comfortable working in a medical/chiropractic environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle a steady flow of patients throughout shifts
Experience:
Experience in chiropractic, physical therapy, or medical settings Familiarity with conditions such as sciatica, muscle tension and spasms, postural imbalances, and work-related strain injuries Flexible scheduling (part-time or full-time options). Clinic-based setting with steady patient flow. Sessions are typically 15 minutes per patient.
