About Us Radiance Massage & Bodywork is a friendly, professional clinic focused on therapeutic, results-based care. We primarily serve veterans through VA Community Care, helping clients manage pain, improve mobility, and support their overall well-being. We're growing and looking for a caring, dependable licensed massage therapist who enjoys focused therapeutic work and professional client care. Hours Needed Our priority is consistent afternoon/evening coverage during these hours:

Mondays and Wednesdays:

3:30-8:30 p.m.

Tuesdays and Fridays:

3:15-8:15 p.m.

Saturdays:

9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Optional, but highly needed. Weekday shifts accommodate four 60-minute massages , with 15 minutes between appointments. Saturday shifts accommodate five 60-minute massages , with a 45-minute break after the first three massages and 15 minutes between the other appointments.

Pay Structure:

We offer two options: 1099 Independent Contractor Starting pay: $45 per completed 60-minute massage. After 90-day review: $50 per completed 60-minute massage. W-2 Employee Starting pay: $40 per completed 60-minute massage. After 90-day review: $45 per completed 60-minute massage. For both pay structures, the $5 per-massage raise after 90 days is based on punctuality, timely completion of SOAP notes, teamwork, and client feedback.

Weekly bonus:

Earn an additional $100 for completing 20 massages in a week under either pay structure. At 20 completed massages per week , total compensation-including the $100 weekly bonus is: 1099: $1,000 at the starting rate of $45 per massage, or $1,100 at $50 per massage. W-2: $900 at the starting rate of $40 per massage, or $1,000 at $45 per massage. About the Role This position focuses on individualized therapeutic massage rather than a standard spa routine. Sessions address clients' symptoms, functional limitations, and treatment goals.

Responsibilities include:

Providing therapeutic massage tailored to each client's needs. Using appropriate techniques such as deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, assisted stretching, and cupping. Assessing client needs and tracking progress. Completing accurate, timely SOAP notes. Communicating professionally with clients and the administrative team. Keeping treatment rooms clean, comfortable, and ready for the next appointment. Following sanitation standards and applicable clinic procedures. Helping maintain a clean, organized clinic, including light cleaning and linen care as applicable to the role. Every appointment includes a 15-minute gap for documentation, cleanup, and room reset. Equipment and Treatment Tools Our fully equipped treatment rooms include: Hydraulic lift tables. Percussion massage tools. Hot stone equipment. Heated scraping tools. Cupping supplies. Use appropriate tools to support effective treatment, with no sales pressure or upselling requirements . Who We're Looking For This role is a great fit for a therapist who: Enjoys therapeutic massage and helping clients improve their daily function. Is reliable and consistent with attendance and availability. Communicates warmly and professionally. Is comfortable documenting treatment and client progress. Works well within a professional, collaborative clinic. Can consistently cover the afternoon/evening hours listed above. Experience with pain management, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, or medical massage is valued. Requirements Active Florida Massage Therapy License. Professional liability insurance. A caring, compassionate heart and a commitment to helping every client feel heard, respected, and supported. Ability to stay focused and attentive throughout each session, responding to the client's needs and treatment goals. Strong client care and communication skills. Ability to maintain accurate SOAP notes. Commitment to cleanliness, professionalism, and dependable attendance.
