Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. In this role, you will deliver professional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans and exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage tailored to individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals. Communicate clearly with clients to explain treatment procedures, address questions, and provide guidance on self-care practices. Maintain detailed records of each session, including client progress and treatment notes in compliance with privacy regulations. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to sanitation standards and professional protocols. Stay informed about the latest advancements in massage therapy techniques and physiology knowledge to continually improve service quality. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care and pain management strategies. Experience Proven experience in massage therapy with a strong background in various modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, and prenatal massage. Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management. Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is preferred. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required to ensure client safety during treatments. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients about their needs and treatment plans. Experience with patient assessment techniques and understanding of occupational health principles enhances service delivery. Familiarity with customer service best practices to create a welcoming environment for all clients.
