Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will provide exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients feel revitalized and achieve their health goals through personalized treatment plans. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals. Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout each session. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information. Stay current with industry best practices, new massage techniques, and relevant medical terminology to continually improve service quality. Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, safety standards, and sanitation protocols at all times. Promote a welcoming environment that emphasizes patient service excellence and fosters client loyalty. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification. Proven experience in massage therapy with knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and pain management strategies. Proficiency in various massage modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage techniques. Strong understanding of patient assessment procedures and client communication skills. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage and occupational health practices. CPR certification is required to ensure safety during treatments. Prior experience working in med spas or wellness centers is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient care and satisfaction. $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
