The ideal candidate will provide professional massage therapy services aimed at promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness. This role requires a deep understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to deliver tailored treatments that meet individual patient needs. The therapist will work in a serene environment, ensuring exceptional patient service and fostering a positive client experience. Responsibilities Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities to address patient-specific concerns. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health conditions and goals. Educate patients on pain management strategies and recommend suitable therapies for ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed documentation of treatments provided, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with medical standards. Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients by adhering to occupational health and safety protocols. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans when necessary. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and advancements in massage therapy and related fields. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist. Proven experience in patient service with strong customer service skills. Expertise in various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and develop personalized treatment plans. Experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred. Strong understanding of pain management principles and occupational health standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about their treatments and wellness strategies.
