The Massage Therapist will work closely with the doctor to assess their needs and develop a personalized treatment plan that assists each patient to reach their full potential. Responsibilities Provide a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue, and therapeutic massage. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to target specific areas of discomfort or tension. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices. Skills Proficient in various massage techniques, particularly deep tissue massage. Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction. Familiarity with medical terminology related to occupational health and pain management. Strong communication skills for educating clients about treatments and wellness practices. Experience in a med spa environment is a plus but not required.
