Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Part-time Massage Therapist, where your expertise will help clients achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness. In this role, you will provide personalized massage treatments tailored to each client's needs, fostering a calming environment that promotes healing and stress reduction. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to address client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure safe practices. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and provide post-session care advice. Maintain detailed records of each session, including client feedback and treatment outcomes, adhering to confidentiality standards. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by following proper sanitation protocols and maintaining massage equipment. Stay updated on the latest massage therapy techniques and industry best practices through ongoing education. Collaborate with team members and other healthcare professionals when necessary to optimize client care. Skills Proven experience in massage therapy with knowledge of physiology and anatomy fundamentals. Strong patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs accurately. Expertise in various massage modalities such as Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, sports massage, prenatal massage, Lymphatic Drainage and medical terminology understanding. Excellent client communication skills to build trust and ensure client satisfaction. Knowledge of pain management techniques and occupational health considerations. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required for safety compliance. Prior experience working in med spas or similar environments is highly desirable.
