We are seeking a CNC Programmer Machinist to operate, maintain, and optimize machine shop operations by interpreting blueprints, managing productive workflows, and troubleshooting technical issues from new tooling configurations to final product production. This role will require machine programming and fixture design experience. Key Responsibilities Create fixtures and holding devices as required. Programming G-code, Fusion 360, CNC Mills (HAAS) Safely select, align, secure, and remove holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines. Calculate and set machine controls to position spindle in relationship to part and to regulate factors such as cutting depth, speed, feed, and coolant flow. Interpreting drawings, blueprints, and designs Hands-on approach Follow safety standards at all times Maintain productive workflow outlined by work boards [Work boards consist of: New tooling, Tooling edits, In house product production] Keep areas around machines clean and safe Check in with designers on prioritizing new tools/edits Uphold all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above Keeping shop hands on task Required Skills/Abilities Organization and attention to detail Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment Ability to multitask and prioritize Proficient in CNC software and Fusion 360 Ability to operate CAD/CAM Fusion 360 software (A plus, not a must) Ability to trouble shoot basic CNC issues Experience with manual machining is a plus Ability to keep information and data accurate and organized Problem solving-recognize a problem and come up with a solution Practice of personal responsibility Desire and willingness to work as a team to accomplish goals Flexibility of Work Schedule for sale periods Adaptability Dependable Conflict management Engineering mindset-comprehends how things go together and function Most have a positive attitude and are willing to train others Supervisory Responsibilities Some supervision of shop hands may be required Education and Experience Previous experience operating CNC Machines Minimum of 5 years prior experience using high-speed precision CNC machines Mechanical aptitude Ability to see how things are done and be able to duplicate processes Communication- working with engineers and other team members within the company Minimum education required: High School Diploma or Equivalent An Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug Free Workplace.
