Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to address individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology knowledge, anatomy understanding, and pain management experience. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment options, and provide guidance on self-care practices. Maintain detailed records of each session, including client progress notes and treatment outcomes, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and promote ongoing wellness routines to support long-term health goals. Adhere strictly to safety protocols by maintaining CPR certification and following all licensing regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or med spa staff to coordinate comprehensive care plans when necessary. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification in CPR. Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to tailor treatments effectively and safely. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with diverse clients. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management practices. Prior experience working in med spas or similar healthcare environments is preferred. $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
