Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans and attentive care. All supplies provided in a busy salon & spa with high traffic. Current clientele a bonus. shared marketing a must. Responsibilities Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop customized treatment plans. Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout each session. Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and health history in compliance with privacy regulations. Stay informed about the latest advancements in physiology, anatomy, and pain management to enhance therapy effectiveness. Uphold high standards of patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring client satisfaction. Adhere to all safety protocols including CPR certification and proper sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Experience Proven experience as a licensed Massage Therapist with knowledge of various techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical terminology related to physiotherapy. Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology with the ability to assess patient conditions accurately. Prior experience working in med spa settings or occupational health environments is preferred. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Experience managing pain relief treatments and implementing effective pain management strategies. CPR certification is required; additional certifications in medical terminology or specialized massage techniques are advantageous.
