The Role The Licensed Massage Therapist will provide professional, personalized massage therapy services to Sweat Life members, athletes, and clients. This role is ideal for a therapist who enjoys working with an active population and understands the importance of recovery, mobility, stress reduction, injury prevention, and overall wellness . We want a professional who enjoys building relationships, educating clients, and becoming part of the Sweat Life community. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality, professional massage therapy services tailored to each client's needs and goals. Conduct brief client consultations before sessions to understand areas of concern, activity level, health history, and desired outcomes. Provide services that may include relaxation massage, therapeutic massage, sports massage, deep tissue work, mobility-focused treatment, and recovery services based on training and scope of practice. Create a welcoming, comfortable, safe, and professional experience for every client. Educate clients on recovery, mobility, self-care, and appropriate follow-up services when applicable. Maintain accurate and confidential client records as required. Prepare the massage room before appointments and maintain a clean, organized, professional treatment environment. Follow all sanitation, safety, licensing, and professional standards. Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled appointments. Communicate professionally with clients and the Sweat Life team. Assist in building the massage therapy program through client relationships, referrals, member education, and participation in occasional Sweat Life events or promotions. Collaborate with Sweat Life coaches and staff when appropriate to help create a well-rounded fitness and recovery experience for clients. What We're Looking For Current and valid Florida Massage Therapist license . Professional, dependable, and punctual. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong understanding of anatomy, movement, recovery, and client care. Comfortable working with a wide range of clients, including active adults, recreational athletes, and fitness enthusiasts. Ability to customize sessions based on individual client needs. Passion for health, fitness, recovery, and helping people. Positive attitude and team-first mentality. Comfortable building relationships and growing a client base within the Sweat Life community. Willingness to represent Sweat Life professionally both inside and outside the treatment room. Preferred Qualifications Experience with sports massage, deep tissue, myofascial techniques, mobility work, or other recovery-focused modalities. Previous experience working with athletes, active adults or chiropractic, physical therapy, or sports-performance environment.
