Job Description

We are looking for a
MAINTENANCE MECHANICAL TECHNCIAN
to join our Newberry, FL location. As a Maintenance Mechanical Technician with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will work as part of a team to keep equipment running through maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. Why apply? Competitive wages. Opportunities for overtime.

Role Responsibilities:
Preventative maintenance throughout the quarry and plant. Perform mechanical maintenance, fabrication, assembly, welding, and cutting. Perform disassembly, repair, rebuild, and reassembly of mechanical equipment and machinery. Bearing Installation Millwright skills Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance, including inspection, troubleshooting, and lubrication of equipment. Maintain safe work areas and operate mobile equipment as needed.
About You We Require:
A minimum of 1-year of mechanical maintenance experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Welding and fabrication experience. Experience operating mobile equipment (e.g., forklifts). Good organizational and math skills. Must be proficient in the English language Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in dusty environments and confined spaces.
