Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, with a focus on patient service and pain management. This role requires a thorough understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to effectively assess and address the needs of our clients. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a med spa environment is essential. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment plans. Provide high-quality massage therapy services, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to address pain management and promote overall wellness. Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress while adhering to confidentiality standards. Educate clients on self-care techniques and the benefits of regular massage therapy. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure comprehensive patient care. Uphold a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients at all times. Requirements Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and occupational health principles. Experience in providing exceptional patient service and customer care. Familiarity with various massage techniques, particularly deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Previous experience in a med spa setting is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
