Job Description

We are seeking a Florida licensed massage therapist to compliment the aesthetician and electrologist in our day spa. The therapist will be responsible for set-up and cleaning the massage area, and helping to maintain an order inventory of supplies needed. We would like to be able to offer swedish, therapeutic and relaxation massage, but knowledge of other modalities such as TMJ treatment would be preferred. Salary is commission-based on the procedures performed and tips are at the discretion of the client but the Indeed ad doesn't allow me to set it as commission based.. We are open to a therapist who has some clients who would like to receive therapy in a personal, relaxed environment or help in marketing ideas to draw new clients in on other days of the week. We are open to renting the room out on a daily basis for a therapist who needs a space for mobile clients or would like another relaxing home for existing clients. A therapist with an NPI number for medical billing would be preferred. The position is for a W-2 employee of the spa and the compensation is based on a percentage of the services provided and the therapist keeps all client tips and is responsible for all taxes on tips.
