Licensed Massage Therapist — Evening Shift D'rock Wellness Pensacola, Florida W-2 Employee Position About D'rock Wellness D'rock Wellness is a veteran-owned medical massage practice serving veterans and individuals living with chronic pain. Our clinic is built on a simple principle: people over profits . We believe exceptional patient care begins with exceptional people. For that reason, we hire for character, reliability, compassion, and willingness to learn—not technical skill alone. Position Overview D'rock Wellness is seeking one or more Licensed Massage Therapists to join our Pensacola team for evening shifts. This position is ideal for a therapist who wants consistent patient care experience, a supportive clinical environment, and the opportunity to grow within a medical massage practice. Our therapists are not expected to market themselves or build their own clientele. D'rock Wellness manages patient scheduling, marketing, billing, and administrative systems so therapists can focus on delivering high-quality care. Position Details W-2 employee position Evening availability required Starting pay of $35 per massage hour , with room for growth Established and growing patient base Medical massage and pain-management focus No personal marketing or client acquisition required Opportunities for additional hours and professional growth as the practice expands Primary Responsibilities Provide safe, professional, and patient-centered massage therapy Assess patients before and after treatment Adapt treatment based on patient needs, comfort, and response Complete accurate and timely SOAP notes Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary treatment rooms Follow clinic policies, treatment procedures, and professional boundaries Communicate respectfully with patients, coworkers, and administrative staff Participate in training, feedback, and continued professional development Ideal Candidate We are seeking someone who: Is dependable and arrives prepared and on time Treats every patient with compassion, dignity, and respect Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and professionalism Is receptive to instruction, coaching, and constructive feedback Works well as part of a team Takes responsibility for cleanliness and shared clinic duties Communicates clearly and respectfully Has a genuine desire to help people improve their quality of life Is interested in developing a sustainable, long-term massage therapy career Technical skills can be strengthened through training and mentorship. Character, accountability, and compassion are essential. Qualifications Current or pending Florida or Alabama massage therapy license (we have two locations) Successful completion of an approved massage therapy program Ability to meet all state and clinic employment requirements Evening availability Professional liability insurance, if required by the clinic CPR or BLS certification preferred Experience in medical, orthopedic, neuromuscular, deep-tissue, sports, or rehabilitative massage is welcomed but not required. New graduates and veterans are encouraged to apply. What This Position Is Not D'rock Wellness is not a traditional spa, booth-rental arrangement, or build-your-own-clientele position. We are building a dependable clinical team committed to consistent care, professional growth, and service to our community.
