Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current issues, and treatment goals. Educate clients on the benefits of different massage therapies and develop customized treatment plans accordingly. Maintain detailed records of each session, including client progress and treatment notes in compliance with privacy regulations. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation standards and maintaining equipment. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain procedures, and provide post-treatment advice for ongoing wellness. Stay current with industry best practices by participating in continuing education and training in areas such as physiology knowledge, medical terminology, pain management experience, and med spa procedures. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Proven experience delivering a wide range of massage techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and tailor treatments effectively. Prior experience working in medical spas or similar healthcare settings is preferred. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly. Knowledge of pain management strategies and occupational health considerations is highly desirable. CPR certification is required to ensure safety during all sessions.
