Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage to address client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health conditions and goals. Communicate clearly with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and provide post-massage care recommendations. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and maintaining equipment cleanliness. Stay informed about the latest developments in massage therapy techniques and occupational health practices to enhance service quality. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care. Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist with demonstrated proficiency in massage therapy standards. Proven experience in providing various massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Excellent patient assessment skills coupled with the ability to develop customized treatment plans. Exceptional client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Certifications in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and first aid are required. Prior experience working in med spa settings or occupational health environments is preferred but not mandatory.
