Job Summary:

We are seeking a licensed, experienced Massage Therapist who specializes in lymphatic drainage massage and has a strong working knowledge of wood therapy techniques. In this role, you will provide tailored treatments that promote detoxification, sculpting, and rejuvenation for our clientele, while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, client care, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct client consultations and assess individual needs to design appropriate treatment plans. Provide lymphatic drainage massages (manual techniques and/or with assistance tools) aiming to improve circulation, reduce fluid retention, support recovery and detox. Perform wood therapy treatments (e.g., using sculpting tools, gua sha boards or wood-rolling implements) to enhance body contouring, firming and overall client experience. Maintain accurate treatment records, update client profiles, and recommend follow-up plans. Prepare treatment rooms and tools between sessions, maintain cleanliness and sterilization protocols. Stay updated on best practices, contraindications, and new techniques in lymphatic and wood therapies. Collaborate with the spa team to deliver a seamless guest experience—from greeting to completion of service.

Required Qualifications:

Valid Florida State Massage Therapy License in good standing. Minimum of 1 years professional experience as a massage therapist with specific experience in lymphatic drainage massage. Demonstrable experience with wood therapy techniques (body sculpting with wooden tools) preferred. Excellent client service skills, strong interpersonal communication and professional demeanor. Ability to follow protocol for hygiene, sanitation and client safety. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends or shifts as required in a spa environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional certifications in lymphatic drainage (manual or machine-assisted) and/or body sculpting modalities. Previous spa experience or working within a resort/wellness environment. Knowledge of contra-indications and ability to advise clients accordingly. Ability to upsell complementary treatments or retail products (if applicable).
