Head Massage Therapist Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and medical massage tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness Maintain detailed treatment records and document client progress in compliance with health regulations Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort, address concerns, and build lasting relationships Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills Collaborate with and take direction from the Head Massage Therapist Experience Proven experience as a licensed Massage Therapist with knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology Hands-on expertise in various massage modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments Prior experience working in med spas or wellness centers is highly desirable Strong patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs and customize treatments accordingly Familiarity with pain management techniques and client communication strategies CPR certification is required; additional certifications in specialized massage techniques or medical terminology are a plus Knowledge of occupational health practices ensures safe and effective therapy delivery Join us in creating a welcoming space where clients feel valued and cared for! Pay:
$50.00 - $70.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 25.0 per week
