Duties Provide a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy and other massage treatments in your scope of practice to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals. Educate clients on massage benefits, post-treatment care, and self-care strategies to enhance ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed treatment records and document client progress accurately in compliance with health regulations. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and address any concerns or special requirements. Stay current with industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development related to physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and pain management techniques. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Proven experience in massage therapy. Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to tailor treatments effectively. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and occupational health practices. CPR certification is required for safety compliance. Prior experience in pain management or client assessment is highly desirable. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed.
