Abode Family Wellness is seeking an experienced, professional Georgia Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to join our growing corporate wellness team. This position is ideal for a massage therapist who enjoys therapeutic, functional bodywork and is comfortable working in a professional corporate/industrial environment. Services will be provided on-site at a corporate facility in Monroe, Georgia , with an emphasis on helping employees reduce muscular tension, improve mobility, prevent injury, and feel better during the workday. What You Will Provide Seated/Chair Massage Gentle assisted stretching and mobility work Myofascial release techniques Trigger point and soft-tissue techniques General muscular tension relief Brief employee education regarding mobility, posture, and body mechanics when appropriate Sessions will be brief and structured to accommodate employees within the workplace settings. This is NOT a traditional spa massage environment.

What We're Looking For:

Hold a current Georgia Massage Therapy License. Maintain own professional liability insurance. Have a minimum of 2 years of professional massage therapy experience. Have reliable transportation and be able to travel consistently to Monroe, GA. Have demonstrated experience with chair massage while being able to provide effective bodywork while clients remain appropriately clothed. Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in chair massage, sports massage, trigger point therapy, and stretch therapy. Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to massage therapy and pain management. Be comfortable working with clients who may perform physically demanding jobs. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and communicate clearly. Familiarity with medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and occupational medicine. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and adherence to licensing requirements for Massage Therapists. Ability to perform patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans effectively. Experience working within med spa or occupational health settings is preferred but not required. Be dependable, punctual, personable, and professional. Be comfortable while working independently while representing our brand and corporate wellness program.
