Job Description
Lumé Head Spa Wellness is Norcross's premier Japanese head spa. We specialize in scalp health, deep relaxation, and head spa rituals — not clinical deep tissue, not high-volume chair massage. Our guests come to us to actually rest. We're hiring a Licensed Massage Therapist — full-time or part-time — who wants a calm, unhurried environment, a loyal repeat clientele, and a schedule that respects your body. No cold-calling, no selling packages under pressure, no double-booking.
HOW PAY WORKS
You earn 45% of the services you perform, with a guaranteed $500 per week minimum, plus 100% of your tips. A slow week never costs you: if 45% of your services comes to less than $500, you're paid $500 anyway. Once your book fills, the split takes over and there is no cap on it. Tips at Lumé are strong because our guests stay 45 minutes to nearly two hours and leave genuinely cared for. Full head spa training is provided. If you're licensed and have great hands but have never performed a Japanese head spa treatment, we will teach you our protocols.WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Perform Japanese head spa treatments: double cleanse, scalp massage, scalp detox exfoliation, herbal wellness rituals, collagen steam, and neck and shoulder release
- Deliver our signature services — Calm Refresh (45-55 min), Stress Reset Experience (65-75 min), Deep Relaxation (80-95 min), and Herbal Sleep Support (100-110 min)
- Consult with each guest before service to understand their scalp concerns, tension patterns, and goals
- Recommend the treatment and home-care products that genuinely fit the guest — we reward honest recommendations, not hard selling
- Maintain a spotless, calm treatment room; sanitize tools, linens, and basins between every guest
- Keep accurate service notes so returning guests get a consistent experience
- Support rebooking by inviting guests back at the right interval for their scalp goals
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required:
- Active Georgia Massage Therapist license in good standing (LMT)
- Professional liability insurance, or willingness to obtain before first shift
- Weekend availability
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a quiet, guest-first environment
- Strong hand and forearm endurance for back-to-back sessions Preferred, but not required:
- Experience with head spa, scalp treatments, Asian-style scalp care, or spa facials
- Esthetician license in addition to LMT
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Vietnamese
- Prior experience in a boutique or luxury spa setting

- Head spa is lower-impact than deep tissue — a longer career with less wear on your body
- Paid training on our head spa protocols
- Free and discounted treatments for you, plus product discounts
- Guests who come back — a repeat, appointment-based clientele instead of walk-in churn
- Small team, real voice — you'll be named and celebrated in our guest reviews, not treated as a number
- Full-time or part-time — tell us the schedule that works and we'll build around it
