Duties Provide a variety of massage techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their concerns, medical history, and treatment goals Educate clients on the benefits of different massage therapies and recommend appropriate sessions for pain management or relaxation Maintain detailed records of each session, including client feedback, treatment plans, and progress notes Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to all health regulations and sanitation standards Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and address any concerns or questions during treatments Stay current with industry trends and techniques by participating in ongoing education and training in areas such as physiology knowledge, anatomy knowledge, medical terminology, CPR certification, and med spa practices Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification in CPR Proven experience in providing diverse massage therapies including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to tailor treatments effectively Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and provide clear guidance Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to all safety protocols related to medical terminology and hygiene standards Pain management experience is highly valued for addressing specific client concerns effectively Join us in delivering exceptional care that transforms lives through healing touch!
